Panaji: FLY91, the Goa-based regional carrier, has been named the domestic airline partner for the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI), strengthening connectivity for South Asia’s most prominent film festival currently underway in Panaji from November 20 to 28, 2025.
The collaboration is expected to significantly enhance travel access for delegates, filmmakers, and audiences arriving from tier-two and tier-three cities across India.
FLY91 Partnership to Boost Festival Accessibility
The association between IFFI and FLY91 brings together two Goa-rooted initiatives aligned in their mission to connect people and experiences.

With the airline’s growing regional network, travellers from emerging cities will be able to reach Goa with greater convenience, supporting IFFI’s efforts to broaden participation and cultural exchange.
During the festival, FLY91 is hosting an engagement activity at its kiosk at Inox Panaji, where delegates can click photos, tag the airline’s Instagram handle, and enter a contest to win complimentary flight tickets.
Expanding Regional Reach to Support IFFI Delegates
IFFI, organised each year in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the Entertainment Society of Goa, attracts visitors from around the world.
The role of FLY91 in improving domestic air connectivity is expected to improve accessibility from regional centres. The airline currently operates flights connecting Goa, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Sindhudurg, Solapur, Jalgaon and Agatti in the Lakshadweep Isles.

Commenting on the collaboration, Manoj Chacko, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of FLY91, said the airline is proud to partner with Goa’s most celebrated cultural festival.
He noted that both IFFI and FLY91 share a commitment to connecting India – one through cinema and the other through regional air travel.
Strengthening Presence in First Operational Year
In its first year of operations, the airline has flown more than 1.7 lakh passengers across over 3,500 flights using its ATR 72-600 fleet based at Manohar International Airport, Mopa.
The airline plans to expand its network to serve more than 50 Indian destinations within the next five years, further contributing to regional mobility and festival tourism in Goa.
